Dr. Gayoso was born in Gainesville, Florida. He completed his undergraduate training at Duke
University and the University of Florida. His medical degree was completed at the University
of Miami, Miami, Florida. His surgical training was completed at the Medical University of
South Carolina, both in general surgery and plastic surgery.

Dr. Gayoso established Natural Image Plastic Surgery in 1998 and remains active in the medical
community, both
|
|
through community lectures and ongoing medical education.
He has participated in
Faith In Practice, an international goodwill mission which provides plastic and reconstructive
surgical care in Guatemala.
Dr. Gayoso is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member
of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is currently chief of plastic surgery at St.
Anthony's Hospital and Bayfront Medical Center. He is the recent past president of the Tampa Bay
Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Gayoso's areas of expertise include facial rejuvenation and breast and body contouring. He
incorporates surgical and non-surgical techniques with the belief that subtle, progressive rejuvenation
is the state of the art.

Dr. Gayoso also gains fulfillment in using his skill to help patients with even the most complex
reconstruction needs after mastectomy, for skin cancer reconstruction, in accident victims, and for
congenital pediatric anomalies. He feels that the restoration of form and function after illness is
the core of plastic surgery and is the basis of the techniques used in aesthetic surgery.
